On the last evening in Budapest I was sitting along the Danube River photographing the Parliament Building. A storm was coming in and I decided to get some last minute aerial photos. Looking at the monitor I hit the shutter button and frozen on the screen was the scene with a lightning bolt over Buda Castle. I didn’t want to get to excited as capturing that moment was a once in a lifetime
